Description:
RPO Recruitment is currently representing a well-established manufacturing company in their search for a Maintenance Team Leader. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to join a dynamic team and contribute to the success of the company.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of maintenance technicians to ensure the efficient operation of production equipment and facilities.
• Plan and schedule maintenance activities to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
• Perform hands-on maintenance and troubleshooting tasks as needed.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs.
• Manage spare parts inventory to ensure availability when needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Monitor and analyze equipment performance data to identify areas for improvement.
• Train and develop team members to enhance technical skills and performance.
• Collaborate with other departments to address production issues and implement process improvements.

Qualifications:
– High school diploma or equivalent required; technical school or vocational training preferred
– Minimum of 3 years of experience in maintenance or related field
– Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role preferred
– Strong knowledge of building systems, equipment maintenance, and repair techniques
– Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
– Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively

Physical Requirements:

• Mechanical engineer qualification and must have a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering role/BSc in Mechanical Engineering, B Techs are not a prerequisite.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience as a maintenance technician or supervisor.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to effectively lead and motivate a team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.
• Experience with preventive maintenance programs is preferred.
