A well-established manufacturing company is looking for an experienced Maintenance Fitter with a strong background in injection moulding equipment and general plant maintenance to join their team in Cosmo City, Gauteng. The ideal candidate must be self-sufficient, organized, and capable of maintaining high technical standards across a variety of machinery and building maintenance tasks.
Responsibilities:
Perform maintenance on injection moulding machines (knowledge preferred).
Carry out general maintenance across the facility.
Plan and execute a consistent machine maintenance schedule.
Maintain neat and orderly work standards at all times.
Keep accurate records of all work conducted.
Operate machine shop equipment such as lathes and milling machines.
Ensure proper stock control and efficient running of the machine spare parts store.
Interact effectively with colleagues and various personnel.
Requirements:
Basic knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems.
Ability to work independently.
Good timekeeping skills.
Experience using machine shop equipment (lathe and milling machine).
Own transport is essential.
Strong interpersonal skills and team compatibility.
