Junior Tailings Engineer – Mining Industry – R460K – R350K Full Time

RPO Recruitment’s client in the Mining Industry is urgently seeking the expertise of a Junior Tailings Engineer in Gauteng.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in designing tailings storage facilities.
• Conduct site investigations and surveys for environmental assessment.
• Aid in the development and implementation of tailings management plans.
• Support monitoring and maintenance activities for tailings facilities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on technical challenges.
• Prepare technical reports and documentation.
• Contribute to risk assessments and contingency planning.

Requirements:

• Grade 12
• Degree in Geology or Civil Engineering
• 5 years’ experience within the mining industry
