RPO Recruitment’s client in the Mining Industry is urgently seeking the expertise of a Junior Tailings Engineer in Gauteng.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in designing tailings storage facilities.
- Conduct site investigations and surveys for environmental assessment.
- Aid in the development and implementation of tailings management plans.
- Support monitoring and maintenance activities for tailings facilities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on technical challenges.
- Prepare technical reports and documentation.
- Contribute to risk assessments and contingency planning.
Requirements:
- Grade 12
- Degree in Geology or Civil Engineering
- 5 years’ experience within the mining industry
