Junior/Mid-Level QS – Construction Industry Full Time

RPO Recruitment’s client, a reputable and long-standing company in Cape Town is seeking a motivated Junior to Mid-Level Quantity Surveyor to join their team. The ideal candidate will be analytical, organised, and eager to grow within a professional and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with cost estimating, tender preparation, and project budgeting
• Measure and quantify works from drawings and on-site assessments
• Analyse technical documents, drawings, and specifications
• Prepare progress reports, cost tracking, and financial documentation
• Support the senior QS team with contract administration and procurement
• Liaise with suppliers, contractors, and internal project teams
• Ensure all work is completed accurately and in line with company standards

Requirements:

• BSc or BTech in Quantity Surveying
• Working knowledge of HVAC and plumbing systems is advantageous
• Valid driver’s licence and reliable own transport
• Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in MS Excel and other Microsoft packages
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• High attention to detail, with a methodical and professional approach to work
• Ability to interpret and understand technical drawings and project specifications
