RPO’s client is seeking an Intermediate to Senior Oracle PLSQL Developer to join their team. The company is a leading player in the retail industry, operating across various sectors, from clothing and footwear to furniture and appliances. The successful candidate will work on developing, enhancing, and maintaining Oracle databases and PLSQL programs that support business functions.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and optimize Oracle PLSQL procedures and packages to meet business requirements.
- Perform troubleshooting and resolution of database-related issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration of database systems with front-end applications.
- Ensure data security, integrity, and performance tuning of Oracle databases.
- Provide ongoing support and enhancements to existing systems.
- Develop reports and scripts to assist with business analytics and reporting needs.
- Implement best practices for database design, programming, and performance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 3-5+ years of experience in Oracle PLSQL development.
- Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries, procedures, and packages.
- Strong knowledge of database performance tuning and optimization techniques.
- Experience with version control tools and software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in the retail or similar industry is a plus.
