Intermediate QS – Construction Industry Full Time

RPO Recruitment’s client, renowned and well established multi-disciplinary contractor in South Africa is currently seeking to employ an Intermediate Quantity Surveyor who can join their team in Johannesburg and get involved in some of their large-scale building projects in and around Gauteng province.

Requirements:

• BTech or BSc degree in Quantity Surveying
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar capacity working for well-established building contractors
• Must have experience in cost planning, estimating/preparing tender and contract documents including BOQ’s, cost analysis, Cost-in-use Studies, Value Management, preparing and reviewing of valuations for monthly claims via measuring from drawings and on-site measuring, reviewing and finalising final accounts, etc.
• Familiar with contractual claims
• Good analytical and negotiation skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently
