RPO Recruitment’s client, is a leading poultry production company in the North West region, dedicated to delivering high-quality products to their customers. They are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join their team as the Head of Department for Poultry Production.

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of poultry production operations in the North West region
• Develop and implement production strategies to meet company goals and objectives
• Manage a team of production staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and safety standards
• Monitor production schedules and make adjustments as needed to meet production targets
• Collaborate with other departments to coordinate production activities and ensure efficient operations
• Analyze production data and identify opportunities for improvement

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in animal science, agriculture, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in poultry production management
• Strong leadership and management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Knowledge of industry best practices and regulations
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Experience with budgeting and cost control
