Forklift Mechanic Full Time

As a Forklift Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing forklifts and other material handling equipment. Responsibility:

• Perform regular maintenance and inspection of forklifts to ensure optimal performance
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues
• Replace faulty components and perform necessary adjustments
• Keep detailed records of maintenance and repair activities
• Coordinate with suppliers to procure necessary parts
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification as a Forklift Mechanic or similar qualification
• Proven experience in maintaining and repairing forklifts
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
• Attention to detail and a commitment to safety

Benefits:

• Salary: R180K/yr – R240K/yr, negotiable
