RPO Recruitment’s client is looking for a Field Service Technician to join their team in Steelpoort, Limpopo.
The successful candidate will provide a safe and efficient mechanical service through effective maintenance and installation of equipment and machinery, ensuring optimum availability and minimal breakdowns.
Responsibilities:

Perform maintenance, repairs, and installations of equipment and machinery.

Conduct and oversee pre-use inspections to ensure safe operation and compliance with procedures.

Maintain general standards and procedural administration for completed tasks.

Ensure good housekeeping and environmental practices.
-
Comply with Occupational Mine Health and Safety Act regulations.

Communicate effectively with supervisors and subordinates.
-
Plan and control spares and fuel usage through an ordering system.
Requirements:

Trade Test – 26D
-
Proof of Apprenticeship (3 Phases signed off)
-
Matric Certificate
-
Hydraulic experience
-
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar environment

Experience working with Deutz, Cummins, John Deere, CAT, and similar engines for heavy-duty equipment and vehicles
