Executive Finance Director Full Time

RPO Recruitment is actively seeking a skilled Executive Financial Director to join our client’s team in Midrand, Gauteng. This is an exciting opportunity for a senior finance professional to play a pivotal role in driving financial strategy, overseeing financial operations, and ensuring compliance within the construction sector. Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the company’s financial strategy in alignment with overall corporate objectives.
• Provide strategic financial recommendations to the CEO and Board of Directors based on financial analysis and projections.
• Lead financial forecasting, budgeting, and risk management initiatives to drive sustainable business growth.
• Oversee the preparation of financial reports, statements, and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.
• Conduct financial modeling to assess potential investments, acquisitions, and major capital expenditures.
• Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor business performance and profitability.
• Lead cost control measures and operational efficiency improvements.
• Develop and implement cash management strategies to maintain optimal liquidity.
• Ensure proper treasury management, including debt management, financing arrangements, and banking relationships.
• Maintain an optimal capital structure by balancing debt and equity financing strategies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (MBA/CA(SA) preferred).
• Proven experience as a Financial Director or in a senior financial leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of financial planning, analysis, and treasury management.
• Experience in the construction industry is highly advantageous.
• Exceptional leadership and strategic decision-making abilities.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
