Site Manager – Construction Industry Full Time

RPO Recruitment’s client, a well-established building contractor in the Western Cape, is currently searching for a committed and hardworking Site Manager who can join their team in Cape Town as soon as possible.     

Responsibilities:

• Control of materials on site
• Coordinate time keeping of labour force
• Liaison with client’s agent
• Quality assurance
• Attending site meetings

Requirements:

• National Diploma in Building or similar qualification in the built environment
• Practical training of the fundamentals in relevant building trades
• Minimum 5-10 years’ experience working as a Site Manager on large industrial and commercial structures
• Ability to read and understand drawings essential
• Competent in planning and managing all site construction activities
• Ability to manage the work programs and finding solutions to problems encountered
• Skills to enable successful procurement and planning to ensure that site activities are on schedule
• Ability to monitor project performance and ensuring that site activities are on schedule and that projects are delivered to the client on time and to their satisfaction
