Electrical Draughtsperson | Consulting Industry Full Time

A well-established Electrical Engineering Consultancy is looking for an experienced Electrical Draughtsperson to join their team in Pretoria.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical consulting, with practical experience using AutoCAD and/or Revit to produce detailed electrical engineering drawings and documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce detailed electrical engineering drawings using AutoCAD and Revit.
• Develop and update drawings in accordance with engineering designs and project requirements.
• Prepare accurate technical drawings and documentation for electrical building services projects.
• Work closely with electrical engineers and other project team members.
• Interpret engineering designs, specifications and technical information.
• Ensure drawings are accurate, coordinated and completed within project deadlines.
• Update drawings and models based on design changes and project requirements.
• Assist with the coordination of electrical designs within multidisciplinary projects.

Minimum Requirements

• Relevant qualification in Draughting, Electrical Engineering or a related field will be advantageous.
• 3+ years’ experience as a draughtsperson within an electrical consulting engineering environment.
• Strong AutoCAD experience.
• Revit experience will be advantageous.
• Good understanding of electrical engineering drawings and building services.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, designs and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet strict project deadlines.
