Electrical Construction Manager – Consulting Industry Full Time NEW

RPO Recruitment’s client, a well-established Electrical Consulting Engineering firm is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to join its Durban office. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong professional with extensive construction management experience on large-scale electrical infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the construction and successful delivery of electrical engineering projects from inception through to completion.
• Oversee contractors and ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.
• Administer construction contracts and ensure compliance with project specifications and contractual requirements.
• Coordinate project teams, consultants, contractors and clients throughout the construction phase.
• Monitor project programmes, budgets, progress and reporting.
• Conduct site inspections and provide technical guidance during construction.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and quality management procedures.

Requirements:

• High Mast Lighting design and construction management.
• Medium Voltage (MV) and Low Voltage (LV) electrical projects.
• Solar energy design and implementation projects.
• Construction management and contract administration.
• Structural assessments.
• Project planning and scheduling using MS Project.
• Experience managing projects with a construction value exceeding R25 million.
