Developer’s Project Manager – Property Development Industry Full Time

RPO Recruitment’s client, a well-established property development firm in Cape Town, is currently looking to hire a committed Developer’s Project Manager who can join their successful team as soon as possible.

The role focuses on Project Management and aspects of the Principal Agent within the development space.

Responsibilities:

• Liaising with stakeholders and ensuring alignment
• Managing cross-functional teams and external consultants
• Efficiently resolving financial, legal, and operational issues
• Ensuring compliance, documentation accuracy, and risk management
• Adjusting to market changes, design amendments, and unforeseen challenges
• Maintaining schedules, budgets, and timely project milestones
• Balancing interests and expectations across the project lifecycle
• Managing team dynamics and stakeholder relationships effectively
• Making informed decisions to ensure smooth project progress

Requirements:

• BSc degree in Property Development/Project/Construction Management
• Between 5 and 8 years’ experience in the property development industry in a similar role
• Detailed attention to managing the cost, quality, and returns on projects while ensuring compliance and improvements to the established internal processes
• Solid experience in site administration, programme management, budget management and coordination, quality control, and key decision making on-site and within project and professional coordination
• Computer literate with proficiency in relevant software packages
