Data Analyst (Inventory Analytics) – Gauteng Full Time

RPO Recruitment’s client is actively seeking analytical Data Analyst (Inventory Analytics) to join their team in Wadeville, Gauteng. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven professional to contribute to inventory optimization, demand forecasting, and data-driven decision-making within a fast-paced supply chain environment.

Responsibilities

• Analyse inventory data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track inventory levels, stock movements, and demand fluctuations
• Collaborate with procurement, warehouse, and planning teams to ensure optimal stock availability
• Assist in forecasting demand and aligning stock levels to meet operational requirements
• Monitor and report on KPIs related to inventory turnover, stock accuracy, and order fulfilment
• Provide actionable insights to support strategic planning and operational efficiency
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity through regular audits and reconciliation

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Data Analytics, Statistics, or a related field
• Proven experience in a data analyst role with a focus on inventory or supply chain analytics
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau is advantageous
• Solid understanding of inventory management principles and forecasting methods
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage large data sets
• Effective communication skills and the ability to present complex data in a clear, actionable format
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
