Construction Project Manager – Construction Industry Full Time

RPO Recruitment’s client, a respected project management consultancy is seeking a dynamic Project Manager to join its Johannesburg team. This opportunity is suited to a driven construction professional with a proven track record of successfully delivering building and infrastructure projects within a consulting environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage construction projects throughout all phases, ensuring successful delivery in terms of scope, budget, quality and programme.
• Coordinate consultants, contractors and other project stakeholders.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks and implement appropriate mitigation strategies.
• Chair and attend project meetings, preparing progress reports and maintaining clear communication with clients.
• Manage project budgets, schedules and contract administration activities.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, industry standards and health and safety requirements.
• Foster strong client relationships while maintaining high levels of service delivery.

Requirements:

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Project Management, Construction Management, Building or a related discipline.
• Candidate or Professional Construction Project Manager registration with SACPCMP
• Approximately 5–10 years’ experience in construction project management.
• Proven experience managing projects from inception through to completion.
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, project planning and contract administration.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary professional teams, contractors and clients.
• Excellent organisational, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.
• Valid driver’s license and own transport
