Civil Draughtsperson Full Time

RPO Recruitment’s client, a well-established engineering consulting firm is seeking an experienced Civil Draughtsperson to join their Richards Bay office.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed civil engineering drawings and models using Civil Designer.
• Produce drawings for roads, stormwater, water and sewer infrastructure, and bulk earthworks projects.
• Ensure drawings comply with project specifications, applicable standards and client requirements.
• Coordinate with engineers and project teams to produce accurate and timely design documentation.
• Revise and update drawings based on engineering design changes and client comments.
• Maintain drawing registers and project documentation.
• Assist with the delivery of high-quality design documentation within project deadlines.

Requirements:

• Relevant Draughting qualification.
• 5–10 years’ experience in civil draughting and modelling.
• Extensive experience in the design and draughting of roads, stormwater systems, water and sewer infrastructure, bulk earthworks
• Proficient in Civil Designer and Microsoft Office.
• Valid driver’s licence and own reliable transport.
• Strong planning and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Able to work effectively under pressure and meet project deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team.
