CIMA Trainee Full Time

Description

RPO Recruitment is currently seeking a motivated and hardworking individual to join our client in Cape Town as a CIMA Trainee. As a CIMA Trainee, you will have the opportunity to gain practical experience and develop the necessary skills to become a qualified Chartered Management Accountant. 

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with financial planning and analysis.
  • Perform cost analysis and management accounting tasks.
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting.
  • Conduct variance analysis and provide insights.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports.
  • Participate in month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Support the finance team with ad-hoc duties as required.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Enrollment in the CIMA qualification or willingness to pursue the CIMA qualification.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team and independently.
  • Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Prior internship experience in finance or accounting is a plus.
