RPO Recruitment’s client is looking for a Category Planner to join their team in Paarl, Western Cape.
The successful candidate will be part of the Supply Chain Division and will focus on optimizing demand plans in relation to actual sales performance, analyzing market trends, and improving stock service levels.
Responsibilities:
Analyze and interpret sales data and consumer behavior
Identify market trends and assess their impact on demand
Develop and review demand forecasts and assortment plans
Execute seasonal procurement planning and master scheduling
Perform continuous lead time analyses and replenishment scheduling
Optimize inventory return, stock service levels, and category profitability
Monitor and report on execution performance
Maintain strong internal and external stakeholder relationships
Utilize stakeholder networks for identifying new opportunities
Support digital transformation initiatives within the business
Requirements:
B.Eng in Industrial Engineering or equivalent qualification
Minimum of 2 years relevant experience
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Experience with Blue Yonder (JDA) Planning is advantageous
Willingness to work extended hours during peak periods
