Buyer – Cleaning Detergent Manufacturing Full Time

RPO Recruitment is excited to announce an opening for a Buyer in the Cleaning Detergent Manufacturing sector. This vital role will involve procuring high-quality raw materials and supplies essential for the production of cleaning products. You will work closely with suppliers and internal teams to ensure that the materials meet quality standards while also being cost-effective.

Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers for various raw materials required in detergent production.
• Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with suppliers to secure the most favorable terms.
• Monitor market trends and conduct price analysis to ensure competitive sourcing.
• Collaborate with production and quality assurance teams to ensure materials meet required specifications and standards.
• Manage ongoing supplier relationships, addressing any issues or concerns that arise.
• Maintain accurate records of procurement activities and supplier performance metrics.
• Implement and uphold best practices in procurement processes to optimize efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Buyer in the cleaning detergent or similar manufacturing industry.
• In-depth knowledge of raw materials and their applications in cleaning products.
• Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent analytical abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
• Proficient in procurement software and MS Office Suite.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment, managing multiple priorities effectively.
