Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audit Manager to join our clients team. The Audit Manager will be responsible for leading and overseeing the internal audit function of the organization, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies. The successful candidate will have a strong background in auditing, risk assessment, and financial analysis, as well as excellent communication and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute internal audits in accordance with professional standards and company policies
• Develop and implement audit procedures to assess the effectiveness of internal controls
• Identify areas of potential risk and recommend solutions to mitigate them
• Evaluate financial statements and assess accuracy and completeness of financial data
• Prepare audit reports and present findings to senior management
• Monitor and follow up on audit findings to ensure timely resolution
• Supervise and mentor audit staff, providing guidance and support as needed
• Stay current on industry trends and changes in regulations that may impact audit processes
• Collaborate with other departments to improve operational efficiency and compliance

Qualifications:

• BCom in Accounting or related degree
• Qualified CA (SA) or eligible to register for CA (SA)
• +2 year of post articles experience in the role of assistant audit manager or audit manager
• Caseware experience
• IFRS and IFRS for SME experience
• Mobile
• SA citizen
