Debt Recovery Specialist Full Time

RPO’s client is actively seeking an experienced Debt Recovery Specialist (DRS) to join their team in Sunninghill, Johannesburg. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional with expertise in debt recovery and administration.

This is a full-time, onsite position.

Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Managing debt recovery processes efficiently.
• Handling collections, negotiations, and settlements with clients.
• Maintaining accurate records and updating debt recovery databases.
• Preparing reports on outstanding debts and recovery progress.
• Working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to resolve disputes.
• Ensuring compliance with legal and company policies related to debt recovery.
• Providing exceptional administrative support and multitasking effectively.

Requirements:

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Experience: 3+ years in debt recovery or collections.
• Qualification: Relevant diploma or certification in finance, law, or administration (advantageous).
• Skills:
  • Strong administrative skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in both English and Afrikaans (as per client specifications).
