RPO Recruitment’s Client is looking for candidates to join their team in Cape Town, Western Cape. This position is an Analyst, you will conduct research and analyses (wide range of sectors) although primarily within agriculture. Develop extensive quantitative (financial) analyses, use Excel, independently conduct statistical analyses in R and Stata, such as impact evaluations and SROI estimations.

Requirements:

• Advanced Excel skills
• Understanding of statistics/econometrics and theoretical comfort with impact evaluations; experience carrying out statistical analyses in statistical programs (preferably R or STATA)
• Solid skills in PowerPoint. You will be expected to develop visually appealing and logical reports and proposals in PowerPoint from day 1.
• At least one year of relevant work experience, preferably in consulting and/or sustainability
• Experience with data collection in data-poor environment (e.g., collecting household data in rural African communities)
• Power BI skills, ability to develop client-ready dashboards

Responsibilities:

• Conduct research and analyses (wide range of sectors) although primarily within agriculture.
• Develop extensive quantitative (financial) analyses. You will be expected to use Excel and other analytical and research tools to conduct quality analyses.
• Independently conduct statistical analyses in R or Stata, such as impact evaluations and SROI estimations.
• Prepare project reports and deliver portions of client presentations.
• Strengthen the internal organization by contributing to internal projects.
• Undertake stakeholder engagement and field work, which may include across Africa.
• Support with business development where required.
