Workshop Supervisor Full Time

RPO Recruitment’s client is currently seeking a Workshop Supervisor to join our client’s team in Gauteng. Our client is a reputable company in the manufacturing industry, and they are looking for a skilled and experienced Workshop Supervisor to oversee the operations of their workshop.

Responsibilities

• Supervising and providing comprehensive training to staff members to optimize their performance.
• Establishing and managing personnel resources effectively.
• Maintaining meticulous records of machine upkeep through detailed maintenance reports.
• Developing and overseeing daily and weekly production schedules with meticulous attention to detail.
• Personally overseeing operations to proactively identify and mitigate any operational hindrances.
• Enforcing stringent adherence to safety regulations and protocols to ensure a secure work environment.
• Conducting thorough performance evaluations and constructive feedback sessions with staff members.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Workshop Supervisor specifically in the refrigerated body building and steel trailer manufacturing industry.
• Strong leadership and management skills
• Excellent knowledge of workshop operations and processes
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Knowledge of safety procedures and practices
• Proficiency in computer applications related to workshop management
