Wet Services Draughtsperson – Consulting Industry Full Time NEW

RPO Recruitment’s client, a well-established engineering consulting firm in Durban is seeking a skilled Wet Services Draughtsperson with strong Revit experience to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a diverse range of building services projects, including commercial, healthcare and mission-critical facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare concept, tender and construction drawings for wet services projects using Revit MEP.
• Produce accurate and coordinated technical drawings in accordance with project specifications and company standards.
• Update and revise drawings throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate drawings with engineers and other building services disciplines to ensure clash-free designs.
• Assist with maintaining drawing quality, accuracy and document control.

Requirements:

• Relevant draughting qualification or certification.
• Minimum 2 years’ practical experience using Revit MEP (2013 or later versions).
• Previous experience within the building services consulting engineering environment is essential.
• Exposure to wet services drafting for commercial buildings, hospitals, data centres or similar developments.
• Sound understanding of engineering drawing standards and detailing.
• Basic wet services design knowledge would be advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate, high-quality drawings.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
