Warehouse Supervisor – Transport & Logistics Full Time

RPO Recruitment is currently seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to join our client in the transport and logistics industry. As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, ensuring efficient and timely processing of goods and materials. You will work closely with a team of warehouse associates, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures, and maintaining a safe and organized working environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage warehouse staff, including recruitment, training, and performance management
• Ensure accurate inventory control, including receiving, storage, and order fulfillment
• Implement and enforce standard operating procedures to improve warehouse efficiency
• Monitor and maintain warehouse cleanliness, organization, and safety standards
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery of goods
• Conduct regular audits to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints, ensuring excellent customer service

• Previous experience as a Warehouse Supervisor in the transport and logistics industry
• Strong leadership and people management skills
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
• Knowledge of warehouse management systems and inventory control
• Understanding of health and safety regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Flexible and adaptable to changing demands
