Technical Sales Representative – Cape Town Full Time

RPO Recruitment is actively seeking a results-driven and technically skilled Technical Sales Representative/Engineer to join our client’s dynamic team in Milnerton, Cape Town. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced sales professional with a strong engineering background to drive business development and provide technical support for a range of industrial and engineering products. Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the designated region
• Provide technical advice and support to clients regarding product selection, application, and system integration
• Conduct client visits, site assessments, and product demonstrations
• Prepare accurate quotes, proposals, and tender documentation
• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client requirements are met
• Keep up to date with market trends, competitor activities, and product developments
• Achieve sales targets and contribute to overall company growth

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronic Engineering
• Proven experience in technical sales, preferably within an industrial or manufacturing environment
• Strong understanding of engineering principles and the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
• Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to client sites as needed
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently and within a team
