Structural Engineer – Consulting Industry Full Time

We are recruiting a highly skilled Structural Engineer with 8–10 years’ experience to join a dynamic and forward-thinking engineering team based in Cape Town. This role offers the opportunity to work on exciting and prestigious projects across high-end residential, commercial, hospitality, and industrial sectors, while contributing to the continued growth and success of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce, manage, and review structural engineering designs.
• Lead and manage a team of engineers and detailers.
• Collaborate closely with architects, contractors, and project managers.
• Ensure all designs comply with relevant industry standards, building codes, and safety regulations.
• Conduct regular site visits and inspections to ensure quality and compliance.

Minimum Requirements:

• BSc / BEng / BTech in Structural Engineering.
• 8–10 years’ proven experience in structural engineering, including concrete, structural steel, and timber.
• Proficiency in structural analysis and design software such as Prokon, AutoCAD, Revit, and Tekla.
• Revit experience will be advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of building codes, standards, and construction practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
• Proven ability to manage teams, multiple projects, and deadlines effectively.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
