Site Foreman – Construction Industry – R540K – R420K Full Time

RPO Recruitment’s client, a well-established company in Gauteng who offers turnkey project management solutions, is currently seeking to employ a dedicated and hardworking Site Foreman who can join their team in Johannesburg and contribute positively towards the success of their projects.

Responsibilities:    

• Oversee daily operations on site and supervise subcontractors and labour, to ensure that the projects are completed in a safe manner and on time, within budget and to specification
• Supervising subcontractor teams on site
• Acting as a conduit between site and management, whilst ensuring adherence to all relevant regulatory requirements
• Programme Management (Planning)
• Project Management (Implementation)
• Cost Management
• Health & Safety
• Supervision, Compliance and Quality Assurance

Requirements:

• National Diploma in Building/Construction Management or similar
• Between 5 and 10 years’ experience in a similar role
• Excellent understanding of a Corporate / Construction environment
• Excellent knowledge Construction methodologies, principles, systems, processes and procedures
• Excellent knowledge of SABS, NBR, NHBRC and H&S standards and other relevant legislative and regulatory requirements
• Attention to detail
• Strategic Planning and organisational skills
• Health and Safety Management Skills
• Project Management and Quality Management Skills
• Proficiency in MS Office

Benefits:

Salary: R420K – R540K CTC per annum, negotiable
