Site Engineer – Construction Industry Full Time

RPO Recruitment’s client, a well-established construction and property development firm in South Africa is currently seeking a professional and detail-oriented Site Engineer to provide technical support on a large development project in Cape Town. This role is ideal for a driven individual with strong analytical abilities and construction site experience.

Responsibilities:

• Perform setting-out and surveying functions using site equipment
• Ensure compliance with engineering designs, specifications, and quality standards
• Provide technical support to site teams and management
• Assist with planning, progress monitoring, and reporting
• Coordinate with contractors and consultants

Requirements:

• National Diploma in Building/BTech in Construction Management or similar
• Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in a similar role
• Proficiency in setting-out and reading engineering drawings
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Hands-on leader who can motivate and manage site teams effectively
• Committed to maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency
• Must reside in Cape Town (no relocation applications will be considered or accommodation provided)
