RPO Recruitment’s client, a leading and well-established civil engineering contractor in Cape Town is seeking a skilled and motivated Site Engineer with a strong background in structural construction and concrete works.
The Site Engineer will support site operations by ensuring that structural and concrete works are executed to design specifications, on schedule, and within budget. The ideal candidate will have experience working on large-scale civil projects and a strong technical understanding of concrete structures, formwork, and reinforcement detailing.
Requirements:
- BTech or BSc/BEng degree in Civil Engineering
- Candidate registration with ECSA advantageous
- Minimum 3 years’ site-based experience with a civil contractor
- Proven track record in structural concrete works, including large infrastructure projects
- Experience with reinforcement detailing, concrete technology, and setting out
- Strong technical and problem-solving abilities
- Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Project, and MS Office
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and quality assurance
- Valid driver’s license
