Shift Production Manager Full Time

RPO Recruitment’s client is looking for a Shift Production Manager to join their team in Sandton, Gauteng.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing production operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety standards are met during their shift.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production activities to ensure efficiency, quality, and adherence to safety standards.
• Lead and motivate production teams, ensuring optimal performance and productivity.
• Monitor production schedules and workflow to meet operational targets.
• Identify and resolve any production issues to minimize downtime and disruptions.
• Maintain strict compliance with health, safety, and quality regulations.
• Work closely with maintenance teams to ensure machinery and equipment remain in top working condition.
• Analyze production data and implement continuous improvement strategies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Production Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Shift Production Manager, Production Supervisor, or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control, and safety standards.
• Excellent communication and team management abilities.
• Ability to thrive under pressure and adapt to changing production demands.
• Proficiency in production management software is an advantage.
