Shift Foreman Full Time

RPO’s client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Shift Foreman to join their dynamic team at their Mine Operations, located 80km northwest of Kuruman in the Northern Cape. This role involves coordinating all production plant processes to ensure that ore sizing and grading meet standards. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in heavy industrial, mining, or plant environments, coupled with supervisory experience and a commitment to maintaining safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all production plant processes to ensure sizing and grading are correct according to standards.
• Ensure that grade and sizing of ore are correctly distributed through plant mechanisms.
• Perform asset care activities as required to EAMS system, including accurate and timely feedback and documentation to all stakeholders.
• Assist artisans with all breakdowns in the plant process area.
• Obtain information, check for accuracy, and capture data. File documents per procedure.
• Comply with safety, health, and environmental standards. Identify and report unsafe and hazardous situations in the work area. Participate in safety meetings.
• Comply with quality standards and deliver in a manner that supports and meets operational quality standards.
• Propose ideas or practical improvements relevant to tasks. Participate in improvement initiatives.
• Participate in change initiatives and provide feedback on resistance.
• Participate in planning process for the section. Execute plans within standard.

Requirements:

• Certificate: Grade 12 (Required)
• Certificate: N3 Engineering Studies
• Certificate: Trade test Boilermaker or Fitter
• Valid Driver’s License: Code B / EB
• Dover “B” symbol
• 3 Years’ Post apprenticeship Boilermaker or Fitter in heavy industrial, mining, or plant environment
• 1 Year Supervisory experience
• Computer literacy – Microsoft Office, JDE, Qlikview, Oracle
