Senior Materials Technician – Consulting Industry – R600K – R480K Full Time

Description:

RPO Recruitment’s client, a well-established and leading civil engineering consulting firm in the Western Cape, is currently seeking a dedicated and hardworking Senior Materials Technician to join their dynamic team on one of their latest roads projects in Cape Town as soon as possible.  The duration of the project will be for approximately 36 months.

Requirements:

• National Diploma in Civil Engineering
• Pr Techni Eng registration with ECSA advantageous
• Minimum 5-8 years’ experience in managing a road construction materials laboratory
• Working knowledge and understanding of Conditions of Contract (GCC 2015) advantageous
• Thorough knowledge and understanding of specifications and Bill of Quantities (COLTO/COTO, SANS 1200, project specific etc.) is a requirement
• Management of Quality Control and a Civil Materials Laboratory (including SANS 17025) essential
• Proficiency Microsoft Office

Benefits:

Salary:  R480K – R600K CTC per annum, negotiable
