Senior Crypto Arbitrage Trader Full Time

An established investment firm in Cape Town is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Crypto Arbitrage Trader to join their team. As a Senior Crypto Arbitrage Trader, you will be responsible for identifying and executing profitable trading opportunities across multiple cryptocurrency exchanges. You will leverage your in-depth knowledge of the cryptocurrency market and trading strategies to generate optimal returns.

Responsibilities: 

Trading Operations:

• Execute crypto arbitrage trades, ensuring best execution practices to maximize returns.

• Monitor FX and cryptocurrency markets to identify arbitrage opportunities.

• Develop and implement trading strategies for arbitrage in the crypto markets.

 Market Analysis:

• Conduct in-depth analysis of global FX and cryptocurrency markets, including economic indicators, market trends, and geopolitical events.

• Provide regular market updates and insights to clients and internal stakeholders.

 Client Relationship Management:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored trading solutions.
• Act as a key point of contact for clients, addressing any queries and providing expert advice on crypto and FX trading.

 Risk Management:

• Identify, monitor, and manage risks associated with arbitrage trading activities.

• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal risk management policies.

 Team Leadership:

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of trading systems and processes

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (BCom) or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in FX trading, with a proven track record of successful trading performance.
• Proficiency in trading platforms, risk management tools, and market analysis software.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed trading decisions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate market views and trading strategies clearly.
• Strong client relationship management skills with the ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
• In-depth understanding of FX market regulations and compliance requirements.
