Senior Building QS – Construction Industry – R840K – R720K Full Time

Description:

RPO Recruitment’s client, a well-established building construction company in the Western Cape, is currently seeking a qualified and experienced Senior Building QS who can join their team in Cape Town as soon as possible.  

Responsibilities:

• Subcontractor appointments
• Monthly valuations including measuring of work done
• Subcontractor monthly payment certificates
• Labour only subcontractor fortnightly payment certificates
• Pricing VO’s
• Monthly cost reports
• Working closely with Bookkeeper, Contracts Managers and Site Managers
• Liaising with client QS regularly

Requirements:

• BTech in Quantity Surveying or similar qualification in the built environment
• Over 15 years’ experience working on both commercial and residential building projects
• Solid proficiency in MS Excel and CCS Candy
• Ability to run multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Own reliable transport

Benefits:

Salary:  R720K – R840K CTC per annum
