Safety Officer – Construction Industry – R480K – R300K Full Time

Description:

RPO Recruitment’s client, a well-established civil contractor in the Western Cape, is currently searching for a hardworking and dedicated Safety Officer to join their team in Cape Town as soon as possible.

Responsibilities:

• Compile Safety Plans/files
• Internal Auditing
• Site training (Induction, Toolbox talk, Risk Assessments, etc.)
• Ensure that construction site works comply with the required H&S Act and Construction Regulations

Requirements:

• Matric Certificate together with Certificates in Incident Investigation, Risk Assessor, Fall Protection, Legal Liability, etc.
• SACPCMP Registration as a Construction Health & Safety Officer
• Minimum 3 – 5 years’ experience in Health & Safety in the Construction Industry
• Ability to work independently
• Sound knowledge of the Occupational H&S Act/Construction Regulations

Benefits:

Salary:  R300K – R480K CTC per annum, negotiable
