SACPCMP Registered Health and Safety Officer – Construction Industry Full Time

We are seeking a SACPCMP Registered Health & Safety Officer to join a leading construction organisation. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive professional to take responsibility for ensuring health, safety, and environmental compliance across designated construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Matric/Grade 12 (essential).
• BSc/BA in Safety Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
• Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety.
• SACPCMP Registration (essential).
• Enforce company safety policies and ensure compliance with the OSHACT and other legislation.
• Conduct audits, inspections, and accident/incident investigations.
• Deliver HSE training and toolbox talks to on-site staff.
• Review and approve subcontractor HSE files.
• Prepare risk assessments and method statements.
• Compile and submit weekly and monthly HSE reports/statistics.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a Health & Safety Officer role within construction.
• Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental legislation and procedures.
• Familiarity with hazardous materials, safe practices, and safety management systems.
• Excellent report writing, data analysis, and communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail.
