Raw Materials Buyer – Food Manufacturing Full Time

RPO Recruitment is currently representing a leading manufacturing company in their search for a skilled Raw Materials Buyer. This is an excellent opportunity for a procurement professional with experience in the manufacturing industry.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of raw materials
• Source and evaluate potential suppliers based on quality, price, and delivery capabilities
• Negotiate and enforce contracts with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with production team to ensure adequate stock of raw materials
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize procurement processes and reduce costs
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and implement measures to improve efficiency
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to procurement activities
• Stay up-to-date with market trends and industry developments to identify potential risks and opportunities

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
• Proven experience as a Buyer or similar role within the manufacturing industry
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Knowledge of supply chain management principles
• Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with cross-functional teams
