Project Control Manager – Mining Industry – R1.1Mil – R1.3Mil Contract

RPO Recruitment’s client is urgently seeking the expertise of a Project Control Manager in the Gauteng Province. This exciting role is with a multi-disciplinary engineering design and project management enterprise, specialising in innovative and sustainable techno-economic holistic solutions for mining projects, from concept stage to commissioning and handover.

Responsibilities:

• Manage, revise and implement Procurement Policies and Procedures which will include but not be limited to:
• Standardisation of Procurement documentation, which will include forms of contract such as FIDIC, NEC and Bespoke
• Vendor Management, which will include all B-BBEE and Client specific requirements
• Internal buying requirements
• Engineering, Project Controls, Information Management, Expediting, Quality Assurance, and Quality Control interfaces
• Contract administration is implemented to meet all Client Agreements and Client / Contractor Agreement obligations and rights

Requirements:

• Baccalaureate Degree in Commerce / Finance
• Project Management Qualification with NEC and FIDIC contract knowledge and experience would be advantages.
• Minimum of 6 years in Projects & Services role on multi-million-rand EPCM Projects.
• Sound EPCM /EPC Project Control Management knowledge
• Sound system control knowledge and implementation experience.
• Excellent skills in MS Word (proper formatting of documents), PowerPoint presentation, and Excel (complex calculations and formulas).
• Cost Engineering Principles and Procedures
• Planning Principles and Procedures
• Earned Value Principles and Procedures
• Cash flow and Cash flow Projection
• Integration of Cost and Schedule
• Cost analysis
