RPO Recruitment is currently partnering with a reputable manufacturing company in Vereeniging to find a highly skilled and experienced Production Manager. As a Production Manager, you will play a critical role in overseeing the production processes and ensuring optimal efficiency and productivity.
In this role, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and controlling the production activities. You will manage a team of production supervisors and operators, providing guidance and support to ensure smooth operations. Additionally, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement production plans, optimize resource utilization, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Plan and organize production schedules to meet customer orders and production targets
- Monitor production processes and ensure compliance with quality standards
- Implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs
- Manage and develop a team of production supervisors and operators
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production issues and implement best practices
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in production management within the manufacturing industry
- Strong knowledge of production planning, scheduling, and process optimization
- Proven track record of improving production efficiency and reducing costs
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Good understanding of health and safety regulations
