Responsibilities
Requirements
As a Procurement Officer, you will play a key role in supporting our clients in their procurement activities. You will be responsible for sourcing and procuring goods and services to meet the needs of our clients. This includes managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely delivery of materials.
We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized individual who has a strong understanding of procurement principles and practices. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Source and procure goods and services based on client requirements.
- Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers.
- Manage supplier relationships and resolve any issues or conflicts.
- Ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation.
- Collaborate with internal teams to understand procurement needs.
Requirements
- Diploma in purchasing and supply chain.
- Proven experience working as a procurement officer or in a similar role.
- Proficient in MS Office
- Proficient in ERP systems such as SysPro
- 5 years minimum in a procurement environment
- Strong knowledge of procurement principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong supplier relationships.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Proficient in using procurement software and tools.
- Ability to work well in a team and independently.
- Procurement certifications such as CIPS are a plus.
