Process Plant Superintendent – Mining Industry – R840K – R720K Full Time

RPO Recruitment’s client in the Mining Industry is urgently seeking the expertise of a Process Plant Superintendent in Gauteng.

Responsibilities:

• Allocating recourses to meet production demand.
• Monitoring and adjusting production process to meet product quality specifications.
• Ensuring quality feed is given to the plant.
• Ensuring accurate interpretation of product test sample results to ensure the required product quality.
• Ensuring cost saving initiatives
• Coordinating maintenance activities
• Eskom CQMP compliance
• Ensuring external and internal resources are correctly allocated in terms of time and skills needed.
• Managing departmental budget
• Ensuring safe work practice and compliance with company SHE requirements
• High level management reports
• Lab management
• Washability report analysis
• Plant related report database maintenance

Requirements:

• Grade 12
• Degree in Metallurgy
• 5 years management experience in plant processing (DMS) in a coal mining operation
