Plant Manager Full Time NEW

A leading construction and civil engineering company is looking for an experienced Plant Manager with strong yellow plant, fleet maintenance, and yard management experience to oversee plant operations, maintenance, and compliance across multiple projects.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all plant yard operations and equipment availability
• Oversee maintenance, servicing, and repairs of yellow plant equipment
• Coordinate preventative maintenance schedules and site breakdown responses
• Maintain accurate plant movement and condition records
• Allocate plant equipment according to project requirements
• Manage yard security, housekeeping, and operational standards
• Control spares, stock levels, and supplier procurement processes
• Supervise operators, mechanics, yard staff, and apprentices
• Ensure compliance with OHS and plant safety regulations
• Prepare monthly utilisation, downtime, and cost reporting

Requirements:

• Trade Tested Diesel Mechanic (Red Seal)
• 10+ years’ experience working with yellow plant in construction or mining
• 3+ years’ experience in a plant management or supervisory role
• Valid Code 10 or Code 14 driver’s licence
• Computer literacy and experience with plant management software
• Strong knowledge of OHS legislation and plant compliance standards
