Mechanical Technician/Technologist – Consulting Industry – R540K – R420K Full Time

Description:

RPO Recruitment’s client, a well-established mechanical and electrical consulting firm in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town, is currently seeking a dedicated and hardworking Mechanical Technician or Technologist who can join their dynamic team as soon as possible.

Requirements:

• National Diploma or BTech degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 5-8 years’ experience in mechanical engineering services such as HVAC, fire, and wet services working on projects in the municipal and private sector
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Carrier HAP, MS Office (Revit MEP proficiency advantageous)
• Knowledge and experience on how to integrate different software packages
• Professional registration or eligible to register with ECSA as Pr Tech or Pr Techni Eng advantageous
• Ability to work from feasibility and concept development stages of projects through to the detailed design and project execution
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, working under pressure, setting goals and being self-driven
• Valid driver’s license with own reliable transport
• Sound interpersonal and good verbal and written communication skills (at least two of the following languages: Afrikaans, English, Xhosa)

Benefits:

Salary:  R420K – R540K CTC per annum, negotiable
