Logistics Coordinator Full Time

An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Logistics Coordinator within a plastics company based in the Eastern Cape.

The successful incumbent for this position will be responsible for:

• Receiving and verifying FG stock and secondary packaging.
• Ensuring timeous and correct distribution of products.
• Solving problems and stock discrepancies identified.
• Monitoring of stock levels and ensuring timeous supply of stock to Customers.
• Ensuring stock is handled correctly.
• Monthly stocktaking.
• Managing of FG Stores and Distribution team.
• Managing the fleet (internal trucks and drivers).
• Planning function (inter-branch and production).

Requirements:

• A minimum of a Matric, Supply chain or Logistics qualification advantageous.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Store’s Supervisor or Management experience essential.
• Must have some Distribution and/or transport experience.
• Intermediate excel.
• Experience on SAP or similar ERP system advantageous.
