RPO Recruitment’s client is seeking a driven and innovative Junior R&D Developer to join their team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will be passionate about food manufacturing and have a strong interest in research and development. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on product development projects and contribute to the growth of our company.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the research and development of new food products
- Conduct experiments and trials to test products and processes
- Analyze data and results to make recommendations for improvements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and new technologies
- Assist in the formulation of new recipes and product concepts
- Contribute to the innovation and improvement of existing products
- Help maintain accurate records and documentation for R&D projects
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Nutrition, or related field
- 1-2 years of experience in food manufacturing or research and development
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and quality control standards
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data analysis software
- Passion for innovation and creativity in product development
