Junior Inventory Manager / Stock Controller – KwaZulu-Natal Full Time

RPO Recruitment is actively sourcing a Junior Inventory Manager / Stock Controller to join our client’s established team in Tongaat, KZN. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional with a background in inventory or stock control, particularly within the manufacturing or steel packaging industry. Key Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor inventory levels, ensuring accurate stock records.
• Oversee receiving, storage, and dispatch processes in line with WMS procedures.
• Perform regular stock counts and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
• Collaborate with production and procurement to align stock with operational needs.
• Generate and analyze inventory reports, presenting actionable insights to management.
• Implement and maintain inventory control systems and best practices.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and compliance regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
• 3+ years’ experience in inventory management or stock control, ideally in manufacturing or steel packaging environments.
• Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is highly advantageous.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret inventory trends and data.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and inventory software tools.
