Junior Engineer Full Time

RPO Recruitment is actively seeking a skilled Junior Engineer to join our client in Phillipi, Cape Town. This is an exciting opportunity for an engineering professional to provide technical support in production, optimize manufacturing processes, and ensure product quality. Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support to production, ensuring efficient process startups and sustainability.
• Troubleshoot and optimize machinery to enhance reliability and minimize waste.
• Monitor operations, analyze data, and implement process improvements.
• Manage technical inventory, procurement, and equipment maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food safety regulations.
• Train teams on best practices for tooling, processes, and equipment usage.
• Maintain detailed records of engineering projects and process changes.

Requirements:

• Education: Grade 12 (Matric) and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Experience: 2-5 years of relevant engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Skills: Strong problem-solving, fault-finding, and process optimization abilities.
• Competencies: Decision-making, teamwork, attention to detail, and leadership.
