Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Junior Bookkeeper to assist our accounting department in managing financial records and transactions. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of basic accounting principles and experience working with accounting software.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in maintaining financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments
• Prepare and input financial transactions into accounting software
• Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of financial data
• Assist in processing accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
• Prepare financial reports and assist in budgeting processes
• Help with payroll processing and employee expense reimbursements
• Assist with audits and other financial inquiries as needed

Qualifications:

• 3+ years experience
• Xero accounting package experience
• Books up to TB
• Bank recons incl. petty cash
